Capitol in the National Mall of Washington

your travel along the east coast of the United States must have to Washington, the capital of the nation, as an essential visit.

During one of my recent trips to the United States I included Washington on the route, although it was a very quick visit, just a day and a half, but that was enough to meet the most important National Mall monuments.

With this name the impressive esplanade that opens before the Capitol, and on whose sides the most important monuments and museums of the capital of the United States.

Washington National Mall

In addition to the aforementioned Capitol wave Library of Congress, which I had the opportunity to visit on my trip, you should not miss seeing monuments like the great monolith Washington Memorial, located in the center of National Mall, or the Lincoln Memorial, on the opposite side of the Capitol.

Of course in the National Mall you will see the building of the White House, which you can meet on guided tours.

You should also see the Vietnam Memorial, or the imposing sculptural set of grant monument.

And as for the museums what can you visit at the National Mall in Washington, from my point of view the essential is the National Air and Space museum.
